Haruki Murakami,a famous Japan novelist,has been writing for nearly 40 years since he began his career as writer,and his works spread widely all over the world,especially in China.Murakami's literature became a phenomenon and flourished on the mainland China with the high sales volume of books and the great popularity among readers.However,the world is not always the same.From the market effect,academic evaluation and audience feedback of Haruki Murakami's works in mainland China in recent years,the “fever” of Murakami's literature now has cooled down.At present,scholars pay much attention to the phenomenon of “Murakami's fever”,but most of them talk about the popularity of his works without observing the occurrence,development and evolution of this classic literary phenomenon from the theoretical perspective of literary communication.In fact,in parallel with the scale of literature,the environment,the media,and the public all act on the field of literature with their own operational rules.Paying attention to the intercommunication between their internal mechanisms,which is of great benefit to the practice of contemporary literary communication.This article will re-examine the phenomenon of the spread of Murakami literature in mainland China,starting from the theory of communication and the communication of literature.Through the analysis of its related elements,it intends to understand the interaction between Murakami's literature and Chinese readers,Chinese cultural market,and Chinese literature better.And to summarize the effective ways of communication for more excellent literary and artistic works.The research is divided into three parts.The introduction includes the reasons for this study,the current situation of Chinese and Japanese literary studies,the conceptual theory and the framework of the paper,and the significance of the research.The subject is divided into three chapters:The first chapter conducts a diachronic study on the communication activities of Murakami's literature in the mainland.Through the methods of data collection,version collection and vertical comparison,it dynamically grasps the general situation of Murakami's literary,indicating the evolution of the phenomenon of “Murakami's fever” in the mainland.The second chapter refers to the traditional thinking of literary and artistic studies,and discusses the relationship between the five elements in the mechanism of literary communication and Murakami's literature from the micro and macro perspectives.At the micro level,based on the text,we can see the influence of the individuality of style narration and the artfulness of theme expression on the popularity of Murakami's works.At the macro level,firstly,the communication environment of foreign literature in China after the reform and opening up is sorted out.After that,it analyzes the influence of the individual spirit and literary concept of the subject,including the author,translator,literary editor and critic on the communication of the work.Then dialectically treats the advantages and disadvantages brought by the transmission channels mainly through printing,internet and film and television media.Finally,through the multiple discourse evaluations of ordinary readers and professional readers,it shows the significance of audience feedback on literary transmission.The third chapter tries to summarize the experience for the effective dissemination of contemporary excellent literary works through the reflection of “Murakami's fever” between ups and downs,and reflect on the shortcomings and prospects of this research.The conclusion summarizes the characteristics of the transmission of Murakami's literary in mainland China,and points out the linkage between the internal links of literary communication mechanism and the effect of communication,then probes into the real situation of literary transmission in typical works.
