Documentary Methods And Aesthetics Character In The Creation Of TV Documentary

In the 21 st century,TV documentary has entered a stage of rapid development.In recent years,a great number of outstanding TV documentaries have emerged in our country.There are not only historical epics like The Rise of the Great Powers,but also exquisite works that close to the real life like The Small Plane.Documentary is no longer only the carrier of showing natural wonders.It more began to record the social humanities and express the beauty of life.This trend of development,on one hand is due to the changes in the aesthetic needs of the masses,on the other hand,is owing to the the vicissitude of the creators' inner pursuit.A TV documentary titled Masters in Forbidden City gives the author a creative inspiration that TV documentaries can be used as an effective way for the general public to get a deep understanding of a professional group in order to change the stereotypes of this professional group.Therefore,based on the existing theories,the author has created A College Counselor,hoping to make a meager contribution through this TV documentary to establish a new social image and a more lifelike portrait for college counselors.Firstly,this paper shows the cut-in point of the author's TV documentaries creation through explaining by defining the theoretical concept of TV documentary,explaining the essence of TV documentary and analyzing the differences between the features of Chinese and Western TV documentaries.Secondly,based on the study of documentary methods for TV documentaries,the author makes an artistic analysis of the application of documentary methods combined with A College Counselor to achieve a combination of theory and practice purpose,which makes the documentary creation methods more research-valuable and also workable.In addition,the author introduces the concept of aesthetics into the process of TV documentary creation to analyze and explain the aesthetic meaning of the graduation work guided by the aesthetic theories,and establish the aesthetic character of the work.The innovation of this paper is the synchronous study of theory and work creation.The documentary technique and aesthetics in the theoretical study have the corresponding practice in the graduation work.This paper pays more attention to the practical operation in order to use theories to guide practice and use practice to test theories.
