Chinese character teaching is an important part of Chinese teaching and it is also the focus and difficulty of Chinese teaching.The current teaching way is mainly based on “word-based” theory,most of the time,the students learn characters from the texts they learned,Chinese character teaching is not systematic.Therefore,there are lots of drawbackes in the teaching of Chinese characters,which increases the difficulty of learning characters.so,it is very necessary to accord to the characteristics of Chinese and Chinese characters,combine with the reseach results of Chinese characters to explore a suitable teaching way for characters.This article is guided by the ‘zi-based' theory and the studends with zero Chinese character foundation as teaching objects.Then select 152 core Chinese characters from the vocabularios of YCT1 and YCT2.Using the research theory of Chinese characters ontology knowledge,analyze and organize these 152 core Chinese characters to find out these characters that are suitable for teaching first,and then rearrange the order of the Chinese characters and the teaching content.Finally,according to the characteristic-s of Costa Rican students to design the teaching.The purpose of this teaching design is to teach Chinese characters systematically,to help students master the core Chinese characters from the vocabularios of YCT1 and YCT2,to promote the examinations of YCT by teaching,and to improve the efficiency of the learning of Chinese characters.
