Research Of Lou Ye's Films

This article explored Lou Ye 's unique aesthetic characteristics and pursuit from four aspects: firstly,diachronically analyze process of Lou Ye's exploration of film,and summarize the artistic traits and creative tendencies of each stage through analytical induction method based on the artistic concept and artistic practice of the directors in different periods.According to the above,the rheological process is divided into three periods.The first stage(1993-1994): the two early films are the exploration of Lou Ye's film technology and the initial appearance of his aesthetic characteristics;the second stage(1996-2009),the five films at this time have undergone a big turn in the narrative perspective,and his personal traits were prominent,which also indicated the maturity of his creative concept;the two films in the third stage(2012-present)are more concerned with social reality for the selection of materials and put more attention to the introspection of daily life on the screen.Secondly,synchronically interpret the artistic style of his film.The artistic style of the director is carefully combed in three dimensions:character,audiovisual effect and scene.The film characters are mainly ordinary individuals in the city;the lens use,color mobilization and sound matching of audiovisual language have realistic pursuit;the scene selection show his complex of urban,image of river and ruin preference.Thirdly,comprehensively analyze the causes of the style of his films,and conclude that his birth and growth in Shanghai,the influence of family art,the student life in the Beijing Film Academy,and changes in the social and cultural environment form an indispensable external factor for the "LOU-style movie ".These factors are superimposed on each other and created a director who is welleducated,technically outstanding,and spirited.Finally,underline the value and significance of his art of films,which is mainly reflected in the fact that he always adheres to the artistic ethics of humanity care which,he believed,is "more important than the box office" and emphasizes individual values that "everyone 's life deserves a careful examination",and pursuits the thorough realism spirit like "the film is a documentary".In the commercialization of the current movie,it is more valuable and precious.In short,the leader of China's sixth generation of directors,although quite controversial,has distinguish value,which is also the significance of this paper.
