Comparative study of calligraphy is a common and effective research method in the study of calligraphy.Statue of prince of circle and Zhao Mengfu's a pivotal figure,China and Japan the history of Chinese calligraphy on their comparative study is important in calligraphy Through in-depth comparison of the calligraphy and historical and cultural traditions of two calligraphers from different countries,the two seemingly unrelated calligraphers establish a mutual connection,so as to carry out correlation research on the culture of the different regions they belong to.Based on the study of Prince Zunyuan's and Zhao Mengfu's calligraphy thoughts,this paper points out the convergence and the causes of their formation,thus revealing the identity of their formation with clan education background and era development environment.It further explains the influence of the concept of revival of calligraphy on the calligraphy style of Prince Zunyuan and Zhao Mengfu.The correspondence between the calligraphy style of Prince Zunyuan and Zhao Mengfu originates from the argument that the two-way communication between Chinese and Japanese monks and the role of navigation trade played in the process of cultural dissemination.It also points out the reasons why Zhao Mengfu's calligraphy Title did not appear in the Northern and Southern Dynasties of Japan and their significance in the calligraphy circles of China and Japan.In addition,the author,on the basis of the relevant contents of the book History of Japanese Bookflow compiled by Dr.Komatsu Maomi,a Japanese scholar,has further perfected and supplemented the chronology of Prince Zunyuan.
