Quiet Meaning-Report On The Creation Of A Series Of Watercolor Paintings

In an accidental opportunity,I went to the nursing home as a volunteer to participate in public welfare activities.Most elderly people in nursing homes can not take care of themselves because of their own illness,or their children are not around,so they go to nursing homes to spend their old age.The experience of volunteers made me feel deeply.It made me feel compassion for the elderly in nursing homes.It also reminded me of my grandparents who were far away from home.At the same time,I also realized that this is not only the loneliness of an elderly person in the nursing home,but also the loneliness of the elderly group in the current society.When I finished my graduation creation,I naturally thought of it as my own creation theme.Old people in nursing homes often appear very quiet and silent.But I can feel their inner world is very rich,the past time must be in their mind over and over again.When I saw the works of Andrew Wyeth,an American artist,the light sadness conveyed in the picture coincided with the loneliness I felt in the nursing home.It also has further inspiration for my own creation.The emotions expressed by art are not the instantaneous emotions of individuals,but the universal emotions of human coexistence.The artist summarizes the emotional experience of life and condenses it in his works.This common emotional experience connects the viewer with the emotional symbols in the works of art,thus bringing the viewer sympathetic resonance.This report is divided into four chapters.The first chapter mainly elaborates the emotional reasons of the creation and the inspiration of Andrew Wyeth's sentimental painting style to the author's creation.In the second chapter,through the appreciation of the artist's style and works,the author elaborates its reference significance to the author's creation.Chapter three elaborates on the formation of a clear creative attitude in the process of determining and exploring the theme.The detailed creation process that achieves complete effect through constant adjustment.Chapter IV describes the reflection and insight after the creation.Through this creation,I realize that the most important thing in the creation is to describe the strong feelings of the elderly in the nursing home.After a period of pursuing the details of the picture,I understand the precious part of the first impression,and the loneliness and sadness implied in the image of the old man,that is the origin of emotion,and more importantly,the motive force of creation.The beauty of watercolor lies in affection.The loneliness of the elderly in nursing homes makes me feel compassionate,so I try to express their loneliness in the picture and appeal to the younger generation and all walks of life to care for the elderly through the expression of the picture.At the same time,it expresses the yearning for the elderly at home.
