| With fantasy as the core,network literature has risen rapidly in a short period of time and has developed in full swing,which has become an indispensable part of contemporary literary landscape.As a prominent representative of network literature,fantasy novels with Chinese characteristics,which is based on the reading taste of Chinese people,has a profound origin in the form and technique of expression with the tradition of zhiguai in our country.Thus,it is of great significance to study the origin relationship between Chinese contemporary fantasy novels and zhiguai tradition for Chinese contemporary fantasy novels.Based on the evolution of zhiguai tradition,this paper discusses the acceptance and development of contemporary fantasy novels to the tradition of fantasy novels through three aspects:literary image,space-time concept and life consciousness,and analyzes the imagination space and aesthetic characteristics of contemporary fantasy novels,excavates the national cultural characteristics of Chinese fantasy.On this basis,this paper analyzes the development status of Chinese fantasy literature,in the hope of benefiting the development of Chinese fantasy novels and find a paradigm that can be used for reference.This paper is divided into five parts:The introduction defines the research object of this paper,introducesthe concept and development of fantasy novels,sorts out the evolution process of the zhiguai tradition from the Pre-Qin Era to the present.This part also sorts out the research results of the fantasy novels and the tradition of zhiguai.At last,research ideas are determined.The first chapter is the literary image of contemporary fantasy novels under the influence of the tradition of zhiguai.It starts from the three aspects of monster,immortal and ghost,and with the aid of the theory of literary image,this chapter explores the image characteristics of contemporary fantasy novels.On the basis of inheriting the spiritual connotation of the traditional literary image,contemporary fantasy novels further infused the spirit of the times,highlighting the subjective spirit of literary images and showing the aesthetic appeals of people in different eras.In the second chapter is the space-time concept of contemporary fantasy novels under the influence of the zhiguai tradition.It compares and explores the non-realistic time writing and the imaginary space of the combination of reality and virtual,shows their pursuit of idealism and transcendental experience which is different from the real world.The pursuit reveals the similarity between the zhiguai tradition and the contemporary fantasy novels in the expression of time and space.Although the content of expression changes with the development of the times,it reflects people's spiritual life and broadens people'saesthetic appreciation and the literary nature of space has not changed.The third chapter is the life consciousness of contemporary fantasy novels under the influence of the tradition of zhiguai,which explores the inheritance and development of the life consciousness of contemporary fantasy novels in the tradition of zhiguai through the manifestation of the life scene and the self-transcendence of the life spirit.Contemporary fantasy novels inherit the “animism”view of life in the tradition of zhiguai,show a rich and colorful picture of life,and develop the spiritual connotation of transcending self-life in the tradition of zhiguai,and explore people's different pursuits for the spirit of life and the value of life.In the conclusion,combined with the current situation of of Chinese contemporary fantasy novels,the author points out the existing problems and shortcomings,analyzes the relevant reasons and explores the paradigm for its development. |
