On The Translation Of Biographical Texts From A Literary Stylistic Perspective

Stylistic analysis plays an important role in translation.Through a stylistic analysis of the source text,translators will get a clearer picture of its genre,language features and style and better understand the source text.Based on this,proper translation methods will be adopted and adequate translations will be produced.The author of the biographical work Saving Danny,in depicting Danny's words and actions vividly and thoroughly,presents the image of an autistic child.This paper analyzes the stylistic features of the biographical text Saving Danny at lexical,syntactic and contextual levels,and comes up with corresponding translation methods with reference to some typical examples from the source text and its translation.
