With the establishment of China's market economic system,the speed and quality of economic construction have achieved world-renowned achievements.While the quality of people's lives has improved,the concept of material wealth has also changed.The concept of materialism and the attitude of money worship are rampant.The concept of life tends to affect the growing middle school students.As a youth full of youthful vitality,middle school students are one of the main forces of future social construction.It is very important for them to grow up happily and healthily.Materialists generally believe that possessing money and material will lead to happiness,so is this really the case?Therefore,this study takes the middle school student group as the research object,and uses the Material Values Scale,the Middle School Students' Money Attitude Scale and the General Well-Being Schedule as the research tools to examine the basic characteristics of the middle school students' materialism,money attitude and subjective well-being.The relationship between the two,and the study explored the mediating role of the various dimensions of money attitude in the materialism and subjective well-being of middle school students.The specific research results are as follows:(1)There are significant differences in the demographic variables of middle school students' materialism and their dimensions in terms of gender,grade,family location,family income,whether they are only children,and pocket money.(2)Subjective well-being has significant differences in demographic variables such as grade,family location,family income,and whether it is an only child;(3)The rights-ruputation dimension of the money attitude has significant differences in grade,family location,family monthly income,whether it is the only child in the family;the money budget dimension of money attitude has significant differences in grade,family location,and amount of pocket money;the distrust dimension in money attitude has significant differences in grade,family location,family monthly income,whether it is the only child in the family;There are significant differences in the dimensions of anxiety in terms of gender,grade,family location,family monthly income,whether it is only child in the family,and pocket money casserole;the quality dimension of money attitude is significantly different in gender,family location,family monthly income,and the amount of pocket money.(4)There is a significant correlation between materialism,subjective well-being,and money attitude.(5)Materialism has a significant negative predictive effect on subjective well-being;materialism has a significant positive predictive effect on power fame,distrust,anxiety,and quality dimensions in monetary attitudes,and materialism has significant dimensions in the monetary budget dimension of monetary attitude Negative predictive effect;the rights-ruputation dimension and the distrust dimension of the money attitude has a significant negative predictive effect on subjective well-being.(6)The rights-ruputation dimension and the distrust dimension of the money attitude play a partial mediating role between materialism and subjective well-being.
