culture.Chinese traditional culture is endless in the long history of 5,000 years.Traditional poetry is the most embarrassing cultural treasure among Chinese traditional culture.The popular broadcast of a series of cultural variety shows such as "Chinese Poetry Conference","Classic Poems" and "Chinese Good Poetry" has awakened the cultural genes that have been sleeping for a long time.At present,there have been two major changes in the context of the transmission of traditional poetry.On the one hand,with the innovation and application of modern media technology,the way of transmission of traditional poetry has changed.In traditional society,traditional poetry is mainly spread by reading,teaching,and book printing.Now,we have entered the stage of Industry 4.0.The emergence of big data,artificial intelligence,and VR technology has constantly changed our way of life and communication.As a computer interaction system that can create and experience virtual worlds,the advantages of VR technology in the process of communication will undoubtedly provide useful help for the dissemination of contemporary traditional poetry.On the other hand,the cultural heritage subject and its way of inheritance have also changed.In any era,young people must be the main inheritance of traditional poetry and even the inheritance and development of traditional culture.Contemporary adolescents are a generation that has evolved along with emerging media technologies,and their methods of communication have changed dramatically.Therefore,the contemporary spread of traditional poetry and even traditional culture has undergone profound changes in terms of communication technology,communication methods and inheritance subjects.This article is a new technical path to explore the contemporary spread of traditional poetry in this new context of communication,and based on this,explore the development prospects of contemporary communication of traditional culture.The main content of this paper can be divided into fourth parts:The first part introduces the background of the contemporary spread of traditional poetry from the aspects of media technology and inheritance subject,and puts forward the basic viewpoint of this paper.And describes the related concepts of VR technology,and uses case analysis to summarize the application examples of VR technology in various fields,and provides successful experience for the contemporary propagation path of traditional poetry.The second part,through combing the relevant content of traditional poetry,it is found that traditional poetry and VR technology have the possibility of combining in contemporary communication: VR technology as a new technology has huge development space and needs to as schools,cultural venues,and public transportation media,can apply VR technology.The forth part,based on the full study of the establishment and operation of the traditional poetry VR communication platform,has made bold plans for its future development prospects,and proposed a practical commercialization path.In the context of the transmission of traditional poetry and the change of the subject
