Analysis Of Creative Performance Of Traditional Culture Elements In Animation Creation

In the long history,traditional culture is formed by the evolution of knowledge,belief,art,etc.by all nationalities.As a brilliant treasure in the world traditional culture forest,Chinese traditional culture has formed a splendid intangible cultural heritage,which fully reflects the lifestyle,aesthetic,spiritual pursuit and values of Chinese people in different periods.With the pursuit of the spiritual world,as an artistic form to express the feelings and thoughts of creators,animation has occupied a place in the cultural industry with its unique form of expression.In the 1920 s,Chinese animation start with ink and wash paintings.In the development of Chinese animation for a hundred years,the creators of each period choose to apply the traditional Chinese cultural elements to the creation of animation,such as traditional opera,shadow puppet,ink and wash paintings and other cultural elements.The integration of Chinese traditional cultural elements and animation has successfully shaped a school of animation with Chinese traditional cultural characteristics,and enriched the world's animation forms at the same time.However,China's animation industry is still in the stage of development and exploration,there are still many problems worthy of further discussion.Therefore,first of all,this thesis analyzes the current situation of the integration of Chinese animation and traditional cultural elements.Then,the shortcomings of the current animation industry are discussed.Finally,based on the animated short film created by myself,this thesis discusses the new view of the integration of animation and cultural elements.Concretely,the main work of this thesis is as follows:(1)This thesis takes traditional culture as the starting point,and the second chapter focuses on the definition of traditional culture and elements of traditional culture.And,the third chapter mainly analyzes the importance of traditional culture for animation creation,the influence of traditional cultural elements on animation,and how to better inherit Chinese traditional culture through animation art media.The fourth chapter takes the Chinese and foreign animation classic films "DRAMAHOLIC" and "Kung Fu Panda" as examples,from the aspects of opera elements,national cultural connotation,etc.,the influences of traditional cultural elements on the role design,scene design and action design are analyzed.(2)There are few existing studies which aims to analyze animated films from the perspective of opera and shadow play.Thus,the fifth chapter focuses on the theoretical research of opera elements and shadow play.Then opera elements and shadow play are combined and apply to the practice of animation creation.And,based on the shadow play elements,the author develops the overall design of the animation short film,and the later dubbing mainly uses the traditional opera dubbing method.Besides,the sixth chapter summarizes the research content of this thesis,analyzes the drawbacks of this thesis,and shows the prospect of the Chinese animation.
