In life,people are highly dependent on numbers.Especially in the description of the size of objects,the universal use of numbers makes our lives more quantifiable.Therefore,the recognition of numbers is very important.The SNARC effect,which is one of the most repeated evidences in digital cognition,has been a hot topic in the field of digital cognition research.Although researchers at home and abroad used different materials,different experimental paradigms,etc.to verify in different spatial dimensions and different reaction modes,few studies have investigated the fractions as experimental materials,reaction types and presentation forms to SNARC.The effect of the effect.Therefore,in this study,140 college students were selected as subjects,and the materials were non-simplified unit number fractions?eg,2/3,2/5?.Four sub-studies were developed using the size judgment task paradigm to reveal the reaction.The effect of type and presentation on the SNARC effect.In Experiment 1,the fraction in the vertical representation were used as materials?eg,₂¹?,and under the horizontal reaction conditions,the effect of the vertical representation of the fraction on the SNARC effect was examined;Experiment 2 On the basis of Experiment 1,the fraction of the horizontal presentation form was used as the material?for example,2/3?,and under the horizontal reaction conditions,the influence of the horizontal presentation form of the fraction on the SNARC effect was examined.in Experiment3,the fraction in the vertical presentation was the material,and under the vertical reaction conditions,the fraction was examined.The effect of the vertical representation on the SNARC effect was based on Experiment 3.On the basis of Experiment 3,the horizontal representation of fraction as the material.Under the vertical reaction condition,the effect of the horizontal representation of the fraction on the SNARC effect is investigated.The result showed that:?1?Under the horizontal reaction conditions,the SNARC effect appeared in the fraction of the vertical presentation form;?2?Under horizontal reaction conditions,the fraction of the horizontal presentation form did not have the SNARC effect;?3?Under vertical reaction conditions,the fraction of the vertical presentation had an inverted SNARC effect;?4?Under vertical reaction conditions,the fractional representation of the horizontal form also exhibited an inverted SNARC effect.Based on the above findings,we can draw the following conclusions:?1?Under horizontal reaction conditions,the fractional SNARC effect was affected by the presentation form and exhibits flexibility;?2?Under vertical reaction conditions,the presentation did not affect the fractional SNARC effect.
