Georgia O’Keeffe as the most famous female artist in the 20 th century,is the pioneer of American abstract painting and one of the most representative artists.She is good at the creation of flowers,this article is from her love of flowers and her works of flowers as the starting point,analysis of Chinese oil artists in the field of art.In the process of this study,the theme of flowers is always running through.The first aspect,first of all,the life of Georgia O’Keeffe and the main achievements of O’Keeffe and the characteristics of a painting.In the second part,the author analyzes the causes of the influence of O’Keeffe on Chinese oil painters.Why does her unique composition,semi-abstract and semi-realistic painting method have an impact on Chinese oil painters ?The third aspect is the summary of O’Keeffe painting style,and selected some Chinese oil painters for horizontal comparison.The continuation of the theme of the creation of flowers,more representative exposition,they are different in the creation of painting on this theme.It explains the subversive expression of flower aesthetics in traditional painting and presents the theme of life and emotion.The fourth part summarizes the revelation of Georgia O’Keeffe painting.Through the deep understanding of O’Keeffe and her art works,the author finds that the metaphor in O’Keeffe flower painting is a subversive expression of traditional aesthetics.It looks like painting “flower”,but it is a metaphor for life by depicting flowers.Through the flower this carrier carries on the suggestibility,the violence bloody fragile and so on life phenomenon is one kind of metaphorical performance.Under the influence of Georgia O’Keeffe,some young artists,dissatisfied with the idolatry of heroism at that time,tried to express their feelings.Attempts to subvert a kind Of expression way to the Traditional straightforwardness,will own emotion experience with the scar art connotation expression.
