Research On The Growth Narrative Of Original Net Anime

With the development of network technologies and business models,the development of online video platforms in the new media era is prominent.In order to enhance users' stickiness,the video platforms' demands for contents continue to expand,from traditional video playback to content production by platforms themselves.Among these contents,Original Net Anime(ONA)becomes an important part.Under the circumstance,the number of ONAs has increased dramatically.The domestic ONAs taking “growth” as their narrative objects have a significant proportion.At first,this paper defines the concept of “ONA”.Then this paper analyzes the context of the generation of growth narratives of domestic ONAs,and studies how the Internet,the cultural phenomenon of pan-entertainment and the target audience affect narrative characteristics.Furthermore,this paper explores the narrative features of domestic ONAs from four aspects: theme selection,character construction,narrative perspective and narrative mode.Specifically,this paper summarizes two categories including emotions and dreams in the theme selection,focusing on personal life experiences and universal concerns for human lives.Character construction is divided into three aspects including self-resistance and self-examination,self-imagination and self-realization,traumatic experience and self-rescue to explain the complex diversity of characters' growth connotation.Narrative perspective is about how to look at the story.An omniscience perspective makes complex character relationships and clear story plots coexist.A perspective of limited knowledge is shows certain emotional bias.Narrative mode expresses the meaning of the scripts with causal narrative,conjugated clump narrative,and dreamy polyphonic narrative.Finally,the paper discusses the practical dilemma of the growth narratives of domestic ONAs,and this paper tries to propose feasible suggestions to deal with the issues at this stage.
