One of the criteria for judging the effectiveness of the English class is the participation of students in the teaching process,especially the students' independent participation in English listening and speaking classes.This dissertation mainly studies and puts forward the teaching strategies of how to improve the participation degree of English listening and speaking in junior high school.The purpose of this thesis is to improve the boring phenomenon of classroom teaching and improve the participation of junior high school students in classroom activities.The most important thing is to improve the junior high school students' English listening and speaking ability,such as the spoken English and listening.There are three major problems in the study: First,are teaching strategies helpful to improve students' participation? Second,is improving students' participation whether can improve their English listening ability? Third,is improving the students' participation whether can improve the level of students' spoken English? Through the study of three issues,it was conducted a four-month teaching practice to improve the students' self-involvement in English listening and speaking classes mainly from the aspects of listening and speaking in the experimental class.By adopting questionnaires and classroom observation methods,teaching strategies are suitable for English class.Listening and speaking classes were summed up to increase students' participation in the experimental class.In order to gradually expand the breadth of student participation,which to improve students' thinking level of the classroom activities,deep degree and positive attitude of student participation activities.Let them dare to say something from what they want to say.The teacher can let students raise hands to answer questions.Before and after the experiment,the students' English listening and speaking skills were tested through the test volume.And it was analyzed whether the increase in participation was conducive to the improvement of English listening and speaking ability.In order toimprove students' participation in the classroom,teachers must be student-oriented in the teaching process.Break through junior high school students dare not to speak English's defense of the heart,so that they actively expressed their ideas in the classroom.To improve students' listening and speaking abilities in teaching and learning,and ultimately to improve the participation of junior high school students in English listening and speaking class.It is also to improve the level of listening and speaking in English classes and students' English listening and speaking skills.It is more helpful to provide junior high school teachers with some teaching strategies that can improve the participation of junior high school students in English classroom activities,so that they can better break the boring phenomenon in the classroom.Through this study,it can be concluded that teaching strategies can improve students' participation.While improving students' participation in English listening and speaking classes,students' English listening and speaking skills are also improved.Students dare to speak English in class and they are willing to speak English.
