The Research On The Present Situation Of Intimate Relationship In College Students And Influence

During the university,students will transfer their role from the single student to the social one.They not only learn professional knowledge,but also experience an important period from na?ve to mature.According to Erik Erikson's stages of psychosocial development,young adult confronts with the conflict between intimacy and isolation.They mainly want to obtain love and intimacy,which is the kernel period of intimate relationship.Long-term solitude tends to create a kind of depressing psychological experience.Everyone is eager to enjoy the wider support of relatives,friends and society to obtain the sense of belonging.In a broad sense,close relationship focuses on the degree of dependence of both sides,but it does not limit by their specific identity.It mainly manifests as family relations,friends,lovers and other relations.In the narrow sense,intimate relationships refer to couple relationship,including relationships and marital relationships.The thesis mainly discusses intimate relationships between male and female.On the basis of summarizing the previous relevant research,this paper analyzes the present situation of the intimate relationship of contemporary college students by using open questionnaire survey.It surveyed 279 college students who had intimate experience and 159 college students who had not experienced at love affairs,and made the following conclusion.1.The types of extraversion and introversion and the expression of mood exists certain difference,which affect the adaptation of intimate relationship.The higher the extroversion is,the higher the mood express,and the better the intimate relationship adapts.2.The duration of relationships influences the adaptation of the intimate relationships.The longer they are maintained,the better the intimacy adapts.Individuals in love have a better relationship of intimacy than individuals with broken relationships.3.The style of attribution and its resolving approach exert great influence on the adaptation of intimate relationships.The internal attribution and positively resolving approach are beneficial to the adaptation of the intimate relationship.More than that,the different majors of college students also affects the style of attribution.The major of science and engineering is easier than liberal arts to attribute to the internal attribution;the students of liberal arts are easier than the artistic to attribute to the internal attribution.As for the resolving approach,the students of artistic are more positive than liberal arts;the students of liberal arts are more positive than science and engineering.4.The types of extraversion and introversion and the internal attribution have predictive and explanatory effects on the adaptation of intimate relationships.The internal attribution plays the role of mediating in the process of the traits of extraversion and introversion on the adaptation of intimate relationships.
