With the progress of science and technology,people gradually enter the new media era,every day in active or passive acceptance of thousands of information,the traditional visual form of expression can not meet the needs of people,people began to pursue the unique and personalized forms of expression.In the current social environment,designers need to constantly study and innovation,and constantly tap new visual expression techniques,to design more excellent works.In our daily life,there is the phenomenon of optical illusion everywhere,its existence can produce strange effect,stimulate people's visual sense.The combination of visual illusion and poster design can stimulate the designer's creative inspiration and bring about a unique visual feast,thus arouse the curiosity and association of the viewer,and accomplish the role of information transmission in the poster design.In this paper through the analysis of a large number of visual illusion application in poster,let people more clearly understand the concept of visual illusion and its causes,summed up the design features and design methods of visual illusion in the poster design,hoping to give designers some inspiration and methods can be applied to the theory,and the the use of design practice in the commercial poster,in addition to the rich form design,gives the design works of high artistic value.
