Neutral Writing

If Sartre is compared to the “The day of French”,then Blanchot is “The night of French”.Not only is his creative text obscure and difficult to read,but also because his attention has shifted from the world of truth in his eyes to the place where knowledge has not yet arrived.His “Space of literature” is like the dark night of the night.Blanchot's literary theory research involves several writers who are very important to him,such as Mallarmé,Rilke and Kafka.But Blanchot paid special attention to Kafka.He also collected his papers about Kafka and wrote a book which is called De Kafka a Kafka.In my opinion,on the one hand,Kafka's works and even the writer's own creative temperament coincide with Blanchot's "neuter" concept,on the other hand,Kafka's understanding of death coincides with Blanchot.From the perspective of Blanchot's whole creative career,the criticism of Kafka's literary writing is actually a sort of combination of his key ideas,which not only links Kafka's creative experience,but also makes Blanchot's literary theory vivid and perceptible.In the decades after World War II,more and more scholars have abandoned the metaphysical and meaningful violence of the subject.The traditional author's "dominance theory" in the field of literature research has been shaken,and the reader's interpretation is unreliable.Blanchot began to deconstruct the subject's power from his thinking about death,and considered that death was the intrinsic motivation of "neutral writing".Beginning with "Death",Kafka constantly weakens the subject in his creation,inviting the world of language to appear and opening up an independent literary world by virtue of the materiality of language.By enumerating Blanchot's Kafka research practice,we can draw a general outline of language self-sufficiency and independence.In the text,Kafka realizes the most essential expression of "neuter" : fully experience the texture of language,liberate people and open things.After stripping the shackles of meaning,the language game becomes vivid and attracts the attention of interpretation.I believed that Kafka uses the material characteristics of the language to develop "intertextual writing",linking up arbitrariness,relevance and constructability of language,and further excavating and identifying,Kafka hopes to create an ideal literary environment outside the subject.
