The Other is one of the keywords in contemporary thoughts, which embodies the reflection of Subjectivity,Identity and Logos.Maurice Blanchot,a French author, critic and thinker with a philosophical background, has established a new path,in a way of unremitting exploration,to unearth the approach to the Other in the literature,by which has he impacted constantly,as well as profoundly,on the French intellectual circles. His concern about the Other, which entailed political dilemma and spiritual crisis since modern society, tightly related to the problem of Commune from French ideology. The first chapter begins with the problem of Community, points out the power discourse connoted in the identical relation,as well as the everlasting mechanism of separating and excluding;the endeavor of Levinas and Batallie is clarified and analyzed on account of the necessity of introducing the Other to the identity while confronting the problem; The contradiction they, whose thoughts interlaced with Maurice Blanchot, were confronted with, directed to the writing of the Other by Blanchot. The second chapter takes Balnchot's writing as the core to connect discoveries of the writing of The Other through his myth of writing;to describe the status of literature communion, combining with his literature pieces.Thereinto,The Summon of Siren's Songs discusses the origin status of writing;Orpheus' Gaze embodies the double negation of literary language;Moribund Guerra Hus shows the common experience of external death.Blanchot's writing of The Other always involves the keyword Neutral, which was derived from the dark way of expression by the Pre-Socratic philosophy in ancient Greece. The third chapter discusses the communion caused by the writing of the other and extends to the communion of the words resulted in the reading of the words;Blanchot proposes the concept of the unavowable Community according to the discussion of Eros from Duras' text; Finally,we are supposed to grasp both dimensions of Community on account of the relationship of them to retain the infinite circle between difference and communication.Balnchot led us to the silence and the infinity belonging to the literature and the origin and manifested the space of “possible impossibility”,by both of which we are able to embrace the force of the literature to open up toward the future.
