Exploring The Production Of Oral History Documentary Films From "History Of Chengdu-Chongqing Railway Construction"

Oral History-Documentary,as a new type of Documentary,is one of important ways to restore and analysis history with image.With the appearance of phenomenal Oral History-Documentaries such as “My War Of Resistance Against JAPAN” and “Twenty Two”,the discussions about the production of Oral History Documentary have been endless.From the beginning,they only pursued the “authenticity” of oral content,to the end,they were agreed that both "authenticity" and "artistry" should be emphasized,the research on the production of oral history documentary has gone through a process.This paper is based on the author's participation in the Oral History Documentary“History Of Chengdu-Chongqing Railway Construction”.It is mean to carding the general model of Oral History Documentary,and to explore how to present the original appearance of historical events through an oral form;how to ensure the authenticity and objectivity of the content during the oral interview;and how to artistically express oral history by means of imagery.This paper also uses a specific method of comparative analysis to shows the combination of oral history and documentary is not only an effective attempt to broaden the carrier of oral history,but also a successful path for the visual expression of oral history.
