The Study Of Li Guang's Literary Image In Song Dynasty

Li Guang is a famous general who has a household name of the Han Dynasty.Xiongnu,an ancient nationality in China,called him “Fei Jiangjun”,it is mean that Li Guang is one of the most excellent general in Han Dynasty.Li Guang's image in the records of history is complex and multifaceted.Although the first author Si Maqian has a preference for Li Guang,he still describes Li Guang's faults truthfully.Generally speaking,Li Guang is loyal,patriotic,talented people,he has frustrated for all his talent in all his life and failed to win the marquis,although he has moral loss such as he killed Ba Lingwei,he has won the universal sympathy as a tragic hero.As the beginning of historical works like “Shi Ji” and “Han Shu”,Li Guang acquired his own literary image,then after a long time integration,Li Guang has gradually accumulated into a literary subject matter which have rich implication.This thesis will take Li Guang as the breakthrough point,analyzes the characteristic of the literary works of Li Guang from Han Dynasty to Song Dynasty,then analyzes the different image of Li Guang which was constructed by the author in different dynasties,in order to promote the comprehend in depth and breadth.This thesis will display the spiritual features of literary authors in different times and different environments,especially focus on the Song Dynasty.The paper is divided into five chapters.First part will introduce the achievement of existing research.The second part will introduce the literary works which related to Li Guang from Han Dynasty to Tang Dynasty.First of all,analyse Li Guang's basic image in “Shi Ji” and “Han Shu”,then summarize the image and be observed the created psychological through the literary works.In Tang Dynasty,Li Guang is a perfect hero,he is brave,excellent,talented,but can't be acknowledged by the emperor,the authors never pointed out his mistake.The works of Li Guang in Tang Dynasty have two obvious characteristics: one is that the literary works lasted the whole Tang Dynasty;the other is they recognized Li Guang as a paragon,although Li Guang's isn't a paragon in the history.The creative psychology was related with the social problem's,mainstream thinking,the author's purpose and physical and emotional needs.The work of Song Dynasty has a great different from the former dynasty,this part is the most important object of this thesis.The third part will summarize the new features of Li Guang in Song Dynasty's poems,such as the authors wakening Li Guang's image of force,pay more attention to one's morality,grow a new type poem like Buddha's poems often used a story that Li Guang shoot an arrow into the rock.And the image has changed too,they don't think Li Guang is a failure just by his failed to became a marquis,also they don't acknowledge Li Guang as a paragon as well,they discussed Li Guang's mistake,as the same time,they sympathize Li Guang as a man who relegate from the court.After then,Huang Tingjian and Lu You will represent the Northern Song Dynasty and the Southern Song Dynasty,their poems will be the object to analyse the impact of background and created psychology.The fourth part is mainly about the Li Guang's image in articles.First,the thesis will display the types or forms of articles,then summarize the image of Li Guang.we'll find it is different from the works in the former dynasty,the works in Song accurately defined Li Guang as a “Qi Cai”,which means Li Guang has unusual talent.And they firstly introduced Li Guang as person who is aggressive and lack of intelligence.Finally,this thesis will introduces the articles which debate how to lead the troops and how to governing the country as a emperor.It is the creative content of articles in Song Dynasty.The fifth part is the conclusion,the thesis will sum up the changes from the Han Dynasty to Song Dynasty through the type,image and the author's attitude of Li Guang.This thesis mainly focus on the different image of Li Guang's literary works in different dynasty,and summarize the characteristic of these works.Then analyze the spirit and values of the authors,and the influence of the social background and mainstream on the creation of literary works.
