Since the introduction of the author in China in the 1980 s,the author has influenced the film creation of the fourth,fifth,sixth and new generation director groups,and provided a unique perspective for film research as an important theoretical basis.Since the new century,the development of domestic art films has been struggling under the impact of the commercial wave.The fourth generation of directors gradually faded out of the film stage,while the fifth-generation director who had moved closer to collective consciousness abandoned the intergenerational commonality and rushed to move closer to commercial-type movies.The sixth generation of directors are still on the edge of the system,and a group of authors represented by Jia Zhangke are looking for commercial possibilities in the film.The emerging generation of directors is looking for a suitable position between artistic pursuits and business needs.There are art film directors who insist on expressing their own styles.There are also many online generation directors who rely on commercial elements to gain eyeballs from the time of fame.Acting director Li Ruijun chose the ranks of art films.In the past ten years,he directed five feature films and a short film,Tell them that I took the white crane to go and The place where the family is rich in water and grass were shortlisted at the 69 th Venice International Film Festival and the 65 th Berlin International Film Festival.The Passing the Future was shortlisted for the "A Concern" module of the 70 th Cannes International Film Festival,and became the only Chinese film that was shortlisted in the year.These achievements not only aroused the applause of the industry,but also triggered the experts of the academic circles.Widely explored.Li Ruijun said in an interview that he is willing to be an author director,which is different from commercial directors.Throughout Li Ruijun's film works,there is a certain degree of similarity and continuity in the theme expression,narrative paradigm and image style.Therefore,the "author film" theory has become an important basis for the study of Li Ruijun and his film.The article is roughly divided into five parts.The introduction part is the researchbackground,research summary,research methods and research innovations of this paper.The second chapter establishes the theoretical traceability of the "author film",analyzes the contradiction of the theory,and defines the concept of "author film" theory through the way of concept analysis,so that Li Ruijun is under the author's perspective.The name of the "movie author".The last three chapters are the main part of the article,which elaborates on the author's characteristics of Li Ruijun's film from the three dimensions of theme,narrative and image style.In the third chapter,the author uncovers the three motifs expressed in Li Ruijun's film from the three aspects of society,culture and spirit,and then summarizes the three motifs into the trauma theme in the modernization process written by Li Ruijun.In the fourth chapter,the author proposes that there is a fixed narrative paradigm in Li Ruijun's film,and analyzes the structure and content of the narrative paradigm from three aspects: "time-oriented" character setting,"Life Narration" and "contradictory narrative model".In the fifth chapter,the author takes Li Ruijun's mirror language expression as the breakthrough point,and points out that although Li Ruijun records reality with simple image language,the grafting of magic realism lens,the use of beautiful music and the change of high saturation color make his films covered with a layer of romantic veil,and this style runs through a series of his works,so Li Ruijun's films are concurrent.With realistic brushwork and romantic feelings,the return of the romantic realism style of domestic movies has been realized.Under the view of the author's film theory,the thesis emphasizes the consistency and uniqueness of Li Ruijun's many film works,focusing on the three aspects of theme,narrative and audiovisual,and in-depth study of the "authority" of Li Ruijun's film.
