The Research Of Shanyan Characters In Shuowen Jiezi

Chinese characters are the crystallization of the wisdom of the Chinese nati on,and are also the most populous words in the world at present.Xu Shen's Shuowen Jiezi in the Eastern Han Dynasty is the first Chinese character book to analyze the shape,explain the meaning and identify the phonetic pronunciati on.Nowadays,there are quite a lot of books and papers on Shuowen Jiezi in academic circles.They are classified by department,by word meaning,and by analysis of six Chinese characters in Shuowen Jiezi.The contents of the resear ch include medicine,architecture,clothing,animals and so on.Through summa rized,it is found that there are still some deficiencies in the relevant works a nd papers on meaning of shanYan characters in ShuowenJiezi.Therefore,this a rticle choosed"Shanbu""Shenbu""Weibu""Erbu""Shibu"“Hanbu""Weibu""Duibu""F ubu""Fubu""Tubu" in Shuowen Jiezi,based on the previous studies,184 charac ters related to Shanyan Yi in these 12 bu are systematically classified according to their meanings.At the same time,these words are textually interpreted wit h reference to Shuowen Jiezi Annotation,Chinese Dictionary,Shuowen Jiezi Se ntences Reading and Modern Chinese Dictionary.By using the methods of stati stics,classification,semantic analysis and comparative study,this paper makes a systematic analysis of glyphs and meanings,also we explore the Chinese mou ntain culture contained in meaning of shanYan characters.This paper consists of six parts:Introduction: Including the research purpose and task,research status,research theory and method of ShanYanyi characters in Shuowen Jiezi.Chapter 1: Explain the basis of classification Meaning of shanYan characters,and classify them according to this basis.Chapter 2: It is divided into five sections,which are classified according to the general name,special title,structure,material and form of the mountain-rock-meaning words,and each type of mountain-rock-meaning words is textually interpreted.Chapter 3: By comparing the changes of Meaning of shanYan characters in Shuowen Jiezi and Modern Chinese Dictionary(6th edition),the reasons for the abolition of these words are found.Chapter ?: According to people's utilization of mountains,their worship and aesthetics,and their awe of mountains,this paper explores the implication of Chinese culture contained in the words of "Mountain Rock Meaning".Conclusion: Summarize the research process of this article,and point out its shortcomings.
