The Comparative Analysis Of "V Yi Xia" And "V Yi Huir"

"V yixia" and "V yi huir"are commonly used structures to express a small amount of in modern Chinese.HoweVer,the comparatiVe study of these two structures is relatiVely weak and the results of the research are few.The similarities and differences between the two structures haVe not been discussed clearly.Based on the three leVels of syntax,semantics and pragmatics,the paper makes a comparatiVe analysis of the two structures of "V yixia" and"V yi huir"on the theoretical basis of quantitatiVe and non-quantitatiVe theory,affirmatiVe and negatiVe theory,grammaticalization theory,focus theory,speech act theory and politeness theory.On the basis of collating literature and collecting coopus.We use Praut Voice Experiement Software,questionnaire and other quantitatiVe and qualitatiVe research methods.From the aspect of syntactic function,this paper makes a comparatiVe analysis of the two structures from choosing Verbs and the similarities and differences of dominant negatiVe forms.It is found that the Verbs that can enter the structure of "V yixia" are intermediate quantitatiVe Verbs,minimal quantitatiVe Verbs,wide quantitatiVe Verbs expressing states,wide quantitatiVe Verbs expressing tendencies non-quantitatiVe Verbs.Here are the Verbs that can enter the "V yi huir"structures---intermediate quantitatiVe Verbs,wide quantitatiVe Verbs expressing states,wide quantitatiVe Verbs expressing trends,continous non-quantitatiVe Verbs and discrete non-quantitatiVe Verbs.The dominant negatiVe forms of the two structures are "not" entering the structures,forming "bu+ "V yi xia" and " bu + V yi huir".On the semantic leVel,the semantic eVolution and grammaticalization degree of "one" in the two structures are discussed.It is found that the grammaticalization degree of "one" in "V" is higher than that of "V yi huir".Fromthe pragmatic leVel,this paper analyses the differences of focus and politeness between "V yixia" and"V yi huir",which explores the focus of "Vand " V in Chinese sentences.From the perspectiVe of new information focus,we can see the commonness of the two structural focus,and from the perspectiVe of highlighting the focus theory,we can see the focus difference between the two structures.with further demonstration that the focus of "V" is the Verb itself,and the focus of "V yi huir" is the whole structure.Finally,the politeness leVel of"V yixia" nd "V yi huir" is also discussed.This paper examines the performance of "V yixia"and"V yi huir"in different speech acts,and further Verifies that the politeness leVel of"V yixia" is higher than that of "V yi huir" by questionnaires.In order to proVide a useful supplement to the study of a small number of structures of Chinese tables to proVide a reference for the study of Chinese quantity category and Chinese politeness expression.Certainly the research results also haVe important Value in the field of Chinese international education.
