In the negative forms of"PP+VP",the negative words appear not only infront of the prepositional phrases,but also in front of the predicate words.Making some common prepositions,such as"zai,cong,chao,xiang,dui etc."as examples,the article makes an on-one-spot investigation into theappearances of negative words,"bu"and"meiyou",in this kind of negativesentences by these common prepositions,and summarizes the rules ofappearances of the negative words and tries to explain the causes from thecognitive and functional aspects. In the introduction part,the article makes a brief introduction to thescope of the prepositions and negative words and their positions in thesentence.The article investigates the possible position of negative words in the negative expressing forms of"PP+VP",from the first part to the fifth part.And in the sixth part,the article concludes the laws of the negative words in the sentences,generalizes the four semantic and pragmatic principles of the restricted appearances of the negative words,and discusses therelevant issues. The article thinks that"meiyou"is fleer than"bu"and that in thesesentences the positions of negative words are restricted by the semanticrelations between the prepositional phrase and predicate verbs,semantic and pragmatic function of the negative words and the complex grammaticalmeaning of the prepositions....
