Research On The Evolution And Development Of Porcelain Modeling In Song Dynasty

Influenced by the social stability,political enlightenment and economic prosperity,the Song Dynasty made art and culture develop rapidly,showing a flourishing prospect.In this favorable environment,as a handicraft,the porcelain also bursts out with dazzling brilliance,creating a new aesthetic pursuit and aesthetic realm of ceramic art.Its unique aesthetic conception and design concept have a profound impact on the future Ming,Qing and even today’s ceramic design.Based on the existing research results and the existing physical and historical records of the Song Dynasty porcelain,this paper makes a detailed exploration and analysis of the Song Dynasty porcelain catering ware by using the methods of literature investigation,field investigation and physical analysis.Starting from the production and development of Song Dynasty porcelain,this study takes five kiln ports as the analysis target,and summarizes the production situation and general characteristics of the porcelain produced in different periods and different kiln ports.Then,from the aspects of social culture,economy and trade,national war,scientific and technological development,this paper explores the causes of the shape of porcelain catering utensils in the Song Dynasty,in order to provide a theoretical basis for the study of its shape characteristics.This article divides the shape of the Song Dynasty porcelain catering ware into three parts,which are the composition of the utensils,the application of the glaze and the decorative application.Through the detailed collation and induction of these shape characteristics,the article makes a concrete analysis of the existing objects with examples of different types of utensils,different forms of glaze and different styles of decoration,so as to explore the Song Dynasty porcelain drinking more accurately.Modeling rules of food utensils.Combined with the historical origin and formation factors mentioned above,it deeply summarizes its aesthetic pursuit and aesthetic implication,which is convenient for better application in innovative practice,and brings the conclusion into new design ideas and design methods,breaks through the shackles of traditional modeling,takes the natural form of two-dimensional landscape painting as a modeling element,integrates into three-dimensional tea set design,and pays attention to the expression of Song Porcelain.The connotation of artistic conception provides a broader way for the inheritance and development of the shape of Song Dynasty’s porcelain catering ware,and also provides a reference method and new ideas for the innovative design of contemporary porcelain.
