Research Of Innovative Design Of Modern Daily-Use Porcelain Based On Dangyangyu Kiln Porcelain Decoration Features

The Dangyangyu kiln in the Song Dynasty was one of the large-scale folk kiln in northern China.The porcelain varieties and production techniques of Dangyangyu kiln reached the peak in the Northern Song Dynasty,and some of them are well-known daily-used porcelain products.With the development of China's economy and the prosperity of traditional culture in recent years,especially the increasing awareness and consumption of porcelain products has greatly promoted the improvement of the level of China's porcelain industry,and also guided the transformation of domestic porcelain product design.The design and production of porcelain products in Dangyangyu city area of Henan province have also developed to a certain extent,but they still show insufficient driving force in the innovative application of daily-use porcelain products.Especially in the transformation of porcelain shape,Dangyangyu porcelain still have some room for improvement.The purpose of this subject is to analyze and sort out the decorative features of Dangyangyu porcelain and find out the inherent decoration rules.On the basis of meeting the aesthetic and functional needs of modern people,This subject will also innovatively integrate the decorative characteristics such as shapes,patterns,color elements of Dangyangyu porcelain with modern daily-used porcelain.The final design results will strengthen the practicality,aesthetics,and popularity of modern daily porcelain while retaining the traditional decorative features of Dangyangyu porcelain.The research methods this article adopted include field survey,literature research,and sorting.First,it is going to summarize and sorts the types and decoration techniques of porcelain in Dangyangyu kiln.Then this research will summarize and sort out the current status,development trend and popularity of modern daily porcelain decoration design.This study explores the feasibility of combining the decorative elements of Dangyangyu porcelain with the shapes of modern daily-use porcelain based on market-oriented principles,cultural perception principles,and function optimization principles,using symbolized design and formal beauty design.The integrate of conventional Dangyangyu porcelain decoration design and modern daily-use porcelain is beneficial to the inheritance of the traditional porcelain industry in Dangyangyu City,and it is also conducive to the design innovation and brand building of Dangyangyu daily porcelain products.Secondly,in the terms of Dangyangyu porcelain shape design,Redesign of decorative patterns,Selection of materials and processes,Traditional method of making porcelain and Modern decal design process,based on data analysis and practice induction to research and analyze the practice scheme of the combination of traditional Dangyangyu kiln and modern daily-used porcelain.Finally,this project will improve the design of Dangyangyu daily-use porcelain in order to better promote the its traditional crafts and the spread of modern brands.The final theme is mainly divided into two parts.The first part is based on bowls,plates,teapots,tea cups and other utensils.We will use the innovative design methods of simplification,reconstruction,and material splicing for redesign of daily porcelain.The second part is to use the engraving process to reflect the unique characteristic decoration methods of Dangyangyu porcelain,and use the discrete design method to transform the shape of the "plum-bottle" into a food container design of modern daily porcelain.
