The purpose of this study is to cultivate students' English Learning Ability by constructing the Learning Community Classroom,hence to improve students' English academic performance,and make them more adept to learn and be more efficient.The dilemma faced by researchers is that the students' English Learning Ability is not high in general.They lack correct attitude,proper planning,initiative and persistence.They can't make effective use of learning resources and conduct effective cooperation and inquiry,so learning efficiency is not good.Through the introduction of cooperative learning,participatory learning and active learning,we make efforts to change the traditional teaching and learning methods,to construct the community classroom with the integration of teaching,learning and evaluation.With the students taught by the researchers as the research objects,the multi-level interactive groups are established to better the teaching mode of reading and writing.The main means of data collection are questionnaires,interviews,classroom observations,study logs,students' evaluation forms and so on.The research methods are mainly literature review,questionnaire survey,tests and case analysis.Through comprehensive qualitative and quantitative analysis,the researchers finally put forward effective methods and strategies for building community classrooms based on improving Learning Ability.The following questions are mainly and well explored in the study:1)How to determine the current situation of students ' English Learning Ability?2)According to the current situation,how to construct a Community Classroom aimed at cultivating Learning Ability?3)What is the impact of Community Classroom on students' Learning Ability?The study shows that community classrooms can cultivate students' strong interest in English learning and stable motivation.The adoption of cooperative and interactive teaching modes can make students become more confident and proactive.It promotes the cultivation of students' good learning habits,improves the learning efficiency,and finally promotes the improvement of academic performance.The construction of the community is a long-term process,which requires teachers to increase their emotional input and create a harmonious and smooth atmosphere.Carrying out community research in middle school English classrooms provides a useful reference for the cultivation of Core Competencies.The research proves that it is feasible to promote students' English Learning Ability based on the classroom community.Of course,due to the limited time and the limited scope of research,the results have certain limitations.
