Research On Graphical Design Of Characters In The Background Of "Image Reading Era"

The continuous progress of science and technology,the renewal of media and the improvement of audience's aesthetics have promoted the arrival of the era of picture reading Graphic-centered visual symbols are challenging traditional character symbols.The relationship between characters and graphics plays an important role in the field of design,especially in graphic design.In the era of fragmentation of information dissemination,graphic design of text can transfer information more intuitively.It can not only meet the needs of fast reading,but also gradually become an important visual component of our life Its more manifestations and design value are also worth exploringThis project is a graphic design study of characters under the background of "the era of picture reading",mainly based on the design practice of the seven traditional festival characters.Trace back to the origin of the graphic character,understand the historical inevitability of the development of the graphic character in Eastern and Western cultures.This paper defines the basic meaning of graphic character,expounds the relationship between characters and graphics,and the differences between them in information dissemination.Through the analysis of the characteristics of information dissemination under the background of "the era of picture reading",this paper clarifies the influence of the audience's demand for fast reading on the trend of text graphics.Combined with the extensive use of new media,the diversification of information dissemination channels for people to change the way of reading,case analysis of the "picture reading era" of the basic principles of graphic design and expression techniques.Through the design practice of Chinese traditional festival character graphics as an example,this paper explores the aesthetic implication and cultural value of character graphics for traditional regeneration in today's design application,and explores the potential design value and development advantages of character graphics in the context of "the era of picture reading".
