Zhou Libo appeared in the modern and contemporary literary history as an author,scholar,literary fighter,grass-roots worker and so on.He has been walking in the forefront of various historical periods as a revolutionary,and writing about the major themes of the times.When it comes to his works,readers simply attribute them to the scope of revolutionary literature and only see the political utilitarian features of his works;or enjoy the colorful,subtle and realistic description of rural life in his works.Generally speaking,in evaluating Zhou Libo's achievements in literary history,"stage process thinking" and "eternal principle thinking" are mutually exclusive and incompatible.The former emphasizes the rationality of political writing in a special historical context,while the latter emphasizes the examination of Zhou Libo's writing practice based on the principles of literariness and humanity.The deviation of these two kinds of thinking leads to Zhou Libo's research into a split and awkward situation.This paper attempts to combine the two kinds of thinking and explore the tension relationship between the political and literary features in his creation from a perspective of consideration and integration,It can also be said that it is to explore the paradoxical relationship between the political "structure" and the literary "texture" of his novels,and put it in the literary tradition to explore the historical origin of his enlightenment attitude,creation method,theme tradition,personal style formation and his contribution to enriching the modern literary tradition that should not be ignored.The introduction part aims to sort out the general situation of Zhou Libo's novel creation and research summary,and explain the reason and significance of the topic.The first chapter is about the contradiction between political expression and free life form.First,the entanglement of "human" and human transformation.The "human" in Zhou Libo's novels is not only an individual with strong desire,but also a transformed subject.In the local cultural tradition,the individual develops the inherent character,but also faces the discipline of the political will of the nation-state.The rationality of human desire and the inevitability of human transformation are integrated and dissolved in Zhou Libo's works.Second,the contradiction between the narration of
