Research On Inheritance And Protection Of The Intangible Cultural Heritage-hand Waving Dance Of Xiangxi Tujia Nationality

Studying inheritance and protection of the ethnic Intangible Cultural Heritage is of great significance to raise the protection awareness of the ethnic Intangible Cultural Heritage,carry forward the excellent traditional culture of the Chinese Nation,promote the prosperity and development of folk-dance arts and enhance the“Cultural Confidence”.Based on theories of dance morphology,ethnology and the protection of the intangible cultural heritage,this article researches the protection and inheritance of “Hand Waving Dance” of Xiangxi The Tujia(hereinafter referred to as “the dance”)through literature research,interviews and fieldwork.The main research effort is as follows: the introduction part describes the research background of the paper,the current research status at home and abroad,the research purpose and significance and the research content and methods.The second part summarises the theory and significance of the intangible cultural heritage project and its protection.In the meantime,it also studies the characteristics of the intangible cultural heritage in China and Hunan Province,as well as the cultural background,historical origin,features and aesthetic intension of “the dance”.The third part,integrated with the field investigation – the investigation of the aboriginal villages in Xiangxi Region(Western Hunan Province),studies the development environment of“the dance” from the aspects of politics,economy,society and technology by using the PEST method.It also summarises the opportunities and challenges faced by “the dance”.The fourth part analyses and summarises the development status of “the dance”,proposing countermeasures to the inheritance and protection of it.The results show that The Tujia has created unique and distinct Tujia cultural characteristics in the peculiar living environment,which has a profound impact on the creation of “the dance”,making it a unique national dance art in folk dance.Fully utilising abundant new media and up-to-date digital technologies and rationally developing the cultural industry of “the dance” are conducive to the protection and inheritance of the intangible cultural heritage of The Tujia.Thetheoretical analysis and practical feasibility of the protection and inheritance status and countermeasures of “the dance” in the intangible cultural heritage are of great significance to the flourishing development of Chinese excellent traditional culture,laying a solid foundation for the enrichment and creation of folk dance,stimulating the economic benefits and social growth of the Tujia area and pushing the splendid intangible cultural heritage to the whole country and the world.
