As a special group in the period of social transformation and development in China,rural left-behind children have attracted the attention of the whole society.The problem of left-behind children in rural areas is a social problem.How the state and society guide their healthy growth and development,the academic community has carried out active research and exploration,but most of the research has focused on the psychological and educational issues of left-behind children,while the moral emotions of left-behind children There is little concern about development and self-esteem education.Pay attention to the self-esteem and moral and emotional education of left-behind children in rural areas,improve the self-esteem of left-behind children in rural areas,cultivate good moral emotions,make the society more stable,and create a beautiful home.This paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction.The main contents are the research background and significance.The literature review of the research and moral emotions and self-esteem of left-behind children in rural areas,and the research ideas and methods used in this paper,the innovation of the article..The second chapter is the theoretical support of this paper.It includes the first part of the concept definition of rural left-behind children,the definition of self-esteem and moral emotion of left-behind children in rural areas.The second part includes the theoretical basis of selfesteem and moral emotion development of rural left-behind children in the western region.relationship.The third chapter conducts a questionnaire survey on the self-esteem and moral emotions of left-behind children in rural areas,and finally collects and sorts out the analysis data,in order to explore the differences in the self-esteem of rural left-behind children in the western region.The fourth chapter analyzes the influencing factors of the self-esteem of left-behind children in the western region on the development of their moral emotions.The self-esteem of left-behind children in rural areas has positive factors for the development of moral emotions.It can promote left-behind children to be self-reliant and enhance the independence of left-behind children.There are also negative factors.The weakening of self-esteem makes the left-behind children in rural areas lack responsibility,which is not conducive to their socialization,poor psychological endurance,rural living environment and their own factors,and peer group factors will make the self-esteem of left-behind children in rural areas have an adverse impact on the development of moral emotions.According to the analysis of the previous problems,the fifth chapter proposes solutions to these problems,improves the school environment,strengthens the family function and the responsibility of family custody,improves their self-esteem,strengthens the social security for left-behind children,and plays the role of peer group assistance.To jointly cultivate a child who is physically and mentally healthy and creative is the hope of the family and the country,and even the nation.
