The Spiraling Development Of Young Women's Identity In Chinese Urban Films Since The Economic Reform And Opening Up

With the development of the city and the advancement of women's status in the 40 years since the reform and opening up,the image of young women in urban movies has gradually changed.From the perspective of feminist research,the writer summarizes the changes and invariances in the identity of young women in urban films in the past 40 years by studying the role images of young women in some urban films from 1978 to 2019:young women Identity at the three levels of identity anxiety,identity search,and identity reconstruction are all developing towards "independence" and "autonomy".However,"Self-splitting" and "fertility frustration" are still the themes that have remained unchanged for years.
