Confucius' thought of name rectification has always been regarded as the beginning of the discussion of Pre-Qin "Ming" studies,and endow the name with the connotation of ethics and Politics,this thought plays an important role in Pre-Qin philosophy.The traditional interpretation of Confucius' thought of name rectification is empirical comprehending,such as identity rectification,status rectification,ethics rectification,words rectification.These interpretations can't explain Confucius' whole set of reasoning about the name rectification theory,and there is a lack of philosophical horizon to study Confucius' thought of name rectification.But be based on the horizon of Ontologie and Semiotics of contemporary philosophy,we can make a more original comprehending of Confucius' thought of name rectification.Heidegger and Derrida,they can respectively regarded as the philosophers who think most deeply about the question of Ontologie and Semiotics,but their thoughts are also unthoroughness.Heidegger advance the der ontologische Unterschied,but there are also a lot of metaphysical ideas on the question of being.Derrida deconstructed metaphysics thoroughly,but he gave up the thought of being in some extent.We want to advance a thorough Ontologie based on a criticize of them.This is a Confucian Ontologie which is based on humaneness,and we will explain how can all beings be possible through this Ontologie.The relation between name and reality in pre-Qin philosophy can correspond to the relation between signifier and signified in Semiotics.The name is a question about sign.Confucius regards name rectification as the first step of politics,actually,it's the question of institutional building advance is to transform the whole meaning world that is based on named——the original presentation of the sign.This is a Confucian Semiotics,it contains a unique Confucian theory of how is the sign come into being——"yueding"-"sucheng",in the most original meaning,"su" refers to the state——"wanwuyitizhiren".And in the empirical world,"su" appears as custom.this is an objective grasp,this is the source of all sign.Different from the traditional theory of name-identity and name-status,Confucius put forward the name rectification directly to the question of linguistic sign——"yanshun",this is the direct causes of the name rectification,and ensure the possibility of comprehending and communication between subjects,this is the question involved in the "ming-yan" relationship in Confucius.The relationship between "yan-xing" is about "xin",the source of this "xin" is humaneness in Confucius' viewpoint.These two questions are inevitable questions in any institutional building.so the root causes of name rectification question is also politics.Confucius said that "shicheng" refers to the root purpose of institutional building and politics in Confucianism.it is to make the country benefit the people,promote the public interest,and then achieve humaneness.Confucius' thought of name is deeply related to his poetics.Original poems and thought are the ways to comprehending Being.When the original situation of Being is gone,people will think because of this hurnaneness,the image of this thought's object come into being.At last,there will be the appearance of representative object,thing and sign,objects and subjects,and the whole meaning world of being comes into being.Confucius regards name rectification as the first step of politics,it is to building institution and transform the meaning world,that is based on the premise of "named".
