Research On Youth Mobilization Of The Chinese Communist Party In Shandong Liberated Area(1946-1949)

The mobilization of youth runs through the entire revolutionary process of the Chinese Communist Party,and is also one of the elements of its revolutionary victory.In the period of the War of Liberation,on the basis of historical experience,the Chinese Communist Party paid more and more attention to the role of youth in the political struggle between the KMT and the CCP,and regarded youth as an important target for social mobilization.The Shandong Liberated Area is one of the main battlefields for the Chinese Communist Party to smash the Kuomintang 's attacks,and its strategic position is extremely significant.The reversal of the Chinese Communist Party 's inferior position in the war and the solidification of the regime in the liberated area are inextricably linked to its effective youth mobilization.Compared with the general mobilization under the united front regardless during the Anti-Japanese War,the policy of youth mobilization in Shandong Liberated Area was more targeted on a broad basis.In order to meet the needs of taking over the new liberated area and consolidating the old liberated area,the Chinese Communist Party first differentiated the tasks of youth mobilization.The old liberated areas grasped the characteristics of youth and mobilized young people in various mass movements.The new liberated areas carried out mobilization according to the wishes of the youth in various ways,without making excessive political demands.The Chinese Communist Party has also adjusted the content and guidelines of youth mobilization,put knowledge youth mobilization in the first place,vigorously led and supported the student movement,and attached great importance to the education and transformation of young cadres.In terms of organizational system,the Shandong Liberated Area basically inherited the work organization during the Anti-Japanese War,retained a relatively complete youth work team and formed a system in which the Youth Work Committee,the Youth League and the New Democratic Youth League cooperated.During the War of Liberation,the focus of the CCP 's youth mobilization in Shandong liberated areas gradually shifted to city,especially young students.The Chinese Communist Party strives to transform students' thinking,so that young students can become a bridge for political propaganda and contact with workers and farmers.In rural areas,the Chinese Communist Party mobilized young people to participate in the construction of political power in a variety of ways that were in line with the cultural standards of young farmers and liked to see them,making them the main force for joining the army and supporting the army.In addition,although the mobilization of young women in the Shandong Liberated Area was still unified in the entire women's work,under the discourse system of women‘s liberation,it was necessary to affirm the outstanding contributions of young women in the mobilization of families,war relief and rural regime.During the War of Liberation,due to the changes in the war process and the political situation,the Chinese Communist Party adjusted the mobilization strategy and organization system in a more targeted manner based on the ideological characteristics and interests of youth in different strata and regions,so that the youth mobilization in Shandong Liberated Area became more detailed and efficient.
