Vocabulary is the basis of language learning,and vocabulary presentation,as the first stage of English teaching,has attracted more and more attention of language teachers.In the process of Internet plus era,vocabulary teaching has been improving in Vocational English vocabulary teaching.Students' vocabulary mastery directly affects the English level of secondary vocational school students.At present,there are still a series of problems in English vocabulary teaching in Secondary Vocational Schools in China,such as: single way of vocabulary presentation;low interest of students in vocabulary learning;difficulty in memory,fast forgetting,etc.Therefore,it is of great significance for Vocational School Students to choose a suitable way of vocabulary presentation.This research is based on the theory of information processing,addition theory and memory theory of cognitive psychology.Through teaching experiments and interviews,three parallel classes of the autumn computer class of 2019 in the Suixi Vocational and Technical School in Huaibei City are taken as the research objects,studing the effect of vocabulary presentation on English vocabulary memory of Secondary Vocational Students.The three test classes were presented in three ways:vocabulary,PPT,and example sentences.After the vocabulary teaching was presented,each test class had a immediately test and two delayed test.The two delayed test is scheduled to be performed one week and one month after the instant test,and then the data obtained from the three experiments are entered into SPSS21.0 for analysis.The analysis results show that:(1)Different vocabulary presentation methods have different effects on vocabulary memory of Secondary Vocational Students.In the instant test,the vocabulary and example sentence presentation have significantdifferences in vocabulary memory effect.In the first delayed test,There were no significant differences between the three presentation modes,and the vocabulary and example sentence presentations in the second delayed test showed significant differences from the PPT presentations;(2)In the instant test,the vocabulary memory effect was the best presentation mode,the results of two delayed tests show that PPT presentation is the best;(3)In terms of memory retention,the fastest forgetting rate is vocabulary mode,of which the PPT is centered,and the example is the fastest to forget.slow.Based on the above conclusions,this study puts forward several related suggestions for vocabulary teaching in secondary vocational English:(1)under the condition that vocabulary memory content is large and time is not sufficient,you can choose a vocabulary presentation method to remember;(2)daily teaching time When more abundant,you can choose to present it in PPT or example sentences to promote students 'deep processing of vocabulary and save it to long-term memory;(3)A single vocabulary presentation method can no longer meet the requirements of students.Teachers should according to the students' cognitive level,Age characteristics and other comprehensive presentation.This study selects three ways of increasing the level of information processing in order to present vocabulary,which enriches the vocabulary teaching methods of secondary vocational English to a certain extent.Future research can also start from the perspective of vertical comparison between grades and different preferences of male and female students' vocabulary presentation methods,in order to further find the most suitable presentation method for vocational school students to memorize vocabulary.
