In this paper,the regulatory fit theory was applied to the field of interpersonal interaction in a two-way respective,to explore the influence of the consistency of self-regulatory focus between leader–follower dyads on the mutual commitment and holding behavior of superior in the workplace,and to explore the mediating effect of liking.A total of 460 pairs of direct leader–follower paired data were collected from six enterprises.Statistical methods such as response surface regression analysis and Bootstrap test were used to analyze the data.The research results were as follows:(1)Compared with the low-low consistency,when the promotion regulatory focus of the superior and subordinate is in high-high consistency,the affective commitment of subordinate is more;Compared with the high-high consistency,when the prevention focus of the superior and subordinate is in low-low consistency,the subordinate has more normative commitment to the superior.When the promotion regulatory focus level is the same,the superior makes more affective commitment to the subordinate.(2)Compared with low-low consistency,when the promotion focus is in high-high consistency,the holding behavior of the superior is more;Superior's holding behavior is more when the prevention regulatory focus is at the same level than at the different level.(3)Subordinate's liking mediates the relationship between the promotion regulayory focus consistency and affective commitment of subordinates,the relationship between the prevention regulatory focus consistency and normative commitment of subordinates,the relationship between the promotion regulatory focus consistency and holding behavior of superiors and the relationship between the prevention regulatory focus consistency and holding behavior of superiors;supervisor's liking mediates the relationship between the promotion regulatory focus consistency and the supervisor's affective commitment,the relationship between the promotion regulatory focus consistency and the supervisor's holding behavior.Through the response surface regression analysis,this study more intuitively reflects the influence of the regulatory focus consistency on commitment and support behavior at different levels It provides theoretical and practical support for the development of organizational personnel management on the basis of the regulatory focus theory,and proposes the direction of future.
