Conscientiousness is one of the most important psychological traits related to one's morality. It's one's behavior tendency to realize and implement his or her responsibility self-consciously and actively. Referred to the structure of conscientiousness, there are two-factor-theory, four-factor-theory, five-factor-theory and six-factor-theory abroad. Domestic researches educed six-factor-theory. But the explanation of the factors of different researchers is not the same. The studies on the relationship between conscientiousness and correlative variables focused on work performance. The results showed that conscientiousness influences work performance significantly. This study explored and confirmed the structure of conscientiousness of Chinese enterprise staff with the methods of exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis. Then, regression analysis was used to study the influence of conscientiousness on correlative variables. At last, variance analysis was used to study the demographic effects on conscientiousness. The results showed: (1)The structure of conscientiousness of Chinese enterprise staff comprises four factors: achievement and pursuit, comity and help, diligence and effort, responsibility and morality. (2)The result of confirmatory factor analysis showed that the four-factor-model is the best one. (3) Conscientiousness influenced normative commitment, ideal commitment and OCB significantly. (4) Four demographic variables, marriage, educational level, occupation, fixed number of work year, have significant effects on conscientiousness.
