This paper is a comprehensive study of Vietnamese students' errors in Chinese descriptive attributive word order.First of all, based on the research results of Chinese multiple attributives, this paper makes a comparative analysis of Chinese and Vietnamese descriptive attributive word order from the aspect of word order by using description, interpretation and comparison methods.By comparison,we find that there is no significant difference in the word order between Chinese and Vietnamese descriptive attributives in terms of composition. However,in terms of structure, the difference of word order mainly lies in that Chinese attribute is placed before the center, while Vietnamese attribute is generally placed after the center. In general, the order of Chinese descriptive attributives is relatively fixed and will not change. On the contrary,Vietnamese attributives are relatively flexible and can be changed according to the context. In addition, this paper also compares the semantic relationship of the attributive, and finds that the semantic relationship between the central language and the attributive of both languages is based on the principle of distance. The more Chinese can explain the essence of the central language, the closer words with fixed and permanent meaning are to the central language, but the opposite is the attributive of Vietnamese.Although there are differences, this principle more or less reflects the cognitive law of Chinese and Vietnamese.Based on the comparative study of the word order of Chinese and Vietnamese descriptive attributives, this paper makes an investigation and analysis of the errors in the process of learning Chinese descriptive attributives encountered by the students in the universities of foreign languages affiliated to Hanoi National University and key high schools in Taiyuan,Vietnam.Through the analysis of the survey results,we find that the errors encountered in the process of learning Chinese descriptive attributives by Vietnamese junior and middle-level students mainly include the inversion of attributive and central language, the word order error of descriptive attributive and the use error of auxiliary "de".The main reasons for the errors lie in the influence of mother tongue transfer, the failure to grasp the characteristics of Chinese descriptive attributives and the students' characteristics. Finally,in view of the situation and reasons of students' errors,we put forward some suggestions for Vietnamese teachers and textbook compilation.I hope these suggestions can provide a reference for Vietnamese Chinese grammar teaching.
