The psychological activity verbs are a special kind of verbs.It is relatively rare in the academic study,especially in the field of Chinese as a foreign language.Most of them are studied under the category of psychological verbs,and this paper focuses on the verbs of psychological activity.Since there is a large number of verbs in psychology,this paper considers only 68 words in Synonyms and Words as representative verbs of mental activity,and explores their reflections in the textbooks to outline Chinese as a foreign lmiguage.Based on the dictionaries,then find out the shortcomings and factors to influence students.The research object of this paper selects the comprehensive textbook titled Developing Chinese widely used in teaching Chinese to domestic students.The outline is International Curriculum for Chinese Language Education.The dictionaries are mainly Modern Chinese Dictionary,Modern Chinese Frequency Dictionary and Oxford Advanced Learner's English-Chinese Dictionary,Among the factors affecting the acquisition of foreign students,undoubtedly the synonymous mental activity verb is the biggest obstacle;and there are many synonymous psychological activity verbsin Developing Chinese,though the Discrimination of synonymous activity verbs are rarely involved in annotations and exercises.This paper attempts to analyze the synonymous mental activity verbs in the SKCC mode and provides a method for the learning of synonymous mental activity verbs.Finally,suggestions are made to rectify the shortcomings of the outline and teaching materials to promote the development of the mental activity verbs in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.This article can be divided into three parts:the introduction,body,and conclusion.The introduction that explains the reason for the topic selection,the purpose,and significance of the research as well as the research status.It mainly includes the definition and classification of psychological verbs,and explores their semantic function and grammatical function,the related research of psychological verbs in Chinese as a foreign language,and the analysis of synonyms.The interpretation of the method also illustrates the research ideas and methods discussed in this paper.In the first place,the body is including a proper selection of 68 mental activity verbs with their synonymous meanings and analysis of distribution and type characteristics in the outline and textbook.In Developing Chinese,the analysis of the mental activity verbs is based on the words,inclusion and rank in the text,the interpretation of Chinese and English through the vocabulary,and the inherent grammatical functions of the text.This is followed by the study of the extent to which the outline and teaching materials match each other,thus pointing out the teaching materials' shortcomings.Then,based on the problems in the practice of teaching materials,it explains the need for the analysis of synonymous psychology verbs by introducing the verbal semantic attributes' description in the SKCC analysis mode,thus analyzing the three groups of synonymous mental activity verbs based on the SKCC model and the text.Based on the foregoing analysis,the latter part defines recommendations on the preparation of the outline and teaching materials as well as the teaching of verbs for Chinese mental activities.The conclusion summarizes the full text to point out the article's flaws.
