| Culture teaching plays an important role in Teaching Chinese as Foreign Language,especially in teaching Chinese as a heritage language.However,the cultural syllabus hasn’t been established,and the scholars have not reached an agreement on the compilation of the cultural factors.Firstly,inspired by 5C concept which is proposed in American Standards for Foreign Language Learning in the 21 st Century,this paper classifies the cultural factors from the aspects of product,behavior and concept.Combined with the excellent experience of domestic researchers,a hierarchical and open framework to classify cultural factors is constructed,and the cultural factors in it are also explored and analyzed by examples and explanations in the paper.Then we study cultural factors in three books,namely,Zhongwen(revised edition),Zhongwen(junior school edition)and Hanyu(revised ediction)in terms of qualitative methods and quantitative methods---Firstly,we concentrate on analyzing the common characteristics as well as respective arrangement features of three books by observing the number,proportion and the distribution of cultural factors.Then,we observe the differences between primary teaching period and intermediate teaching period and the differences between textbooks of distinctive series of the same teaching period.Lastly,we discuss different attitudes that two editors respectively adopt toward culture.Then,we tentatively put forward the principle to assess the difficulty of the cultural project in the textbooks of Teaching Chinese as Foreign Language.Finally,this paper summarizes the similarities and differences of the compilation among these three textbooks.Based on this,we propose some ideas about how to input and edit the cultural factors in Chinese language textbooks from the following aspects such as how to choose,present and edit the Chinese factors and so on. |
