Verbs are always of great importance in Chinese learning for foreign students.Due to the close relationship of psychological activity and language, Psychologicalverbs in Chinese as a foreign language vocabulary teaching should be caused widepublic concern. As a small class in the psychological verb,"love and hate" classpsychological verb has a higher frequency of use in daily communication. Althoughthe study of the psychological verb has made great progress and the small classresearch is becoming more and more concerned of the verbs, they are still relativelyinsufficient in the aspect of teaching Chinese as a foreign language research.Therefore, this article selected48of the psychological verb of “love and hate” as theresearch object from the "modern Chinese dictionary"(version6), combining with theanalysis about the errors that international students made. The purpose is that it canprovide the help for vocabulary teaching in teaching Chinese as a foreign language,(and improving the efficiency and accuracy.in students learning and using.The introduction part mainly introduced the selected the reason of the topic, thesignificance of this article, the status of research, the tasks of research, the mainmethods of research and the sources of corpus.The next part of thesis is divided into four chapters: The first chapter is the studyof the psychological verb of “love and hate” in Chinese. This part analyzed andsummarized the semantic features and syntactic function of these words. The secondchapter is the study of the new words of the psychological verb of “love and hate” inthe text book. This part mainly contrasted and analyzed the selection and the meaningof these new words in three text books of “New Practical Chinese Reading”,“Developing Chinese” and “The Learned Chinese”. The third part is the analysis ofthe errors that foreign students made in the learning from “HSK DynamicComposition Corpus”. This part mainly analyzed the types of these errors and thereasons for errors. The fourth part is the suggestions about the two aspects of the textbook and the teachers in the teaching of the psychological verb of “love and hate”. The purpose is that it offers the help to the relative teaching.The last part is the conclusion part. This part summarized the full text contentand pointed out the deficiency of the paper.In a word, the study of the psychological verb of “love and hate” in Chinesemainly refers to a summary of previous studies, this paper focuses on the teachingresearch of the psychological verb of “love and hate” in teaching Chinese as a foreignlanguage. I hope that this paper will be play a certain role in promoting the quality ofteaching Chinese as a foreign language.
