The primary Chinese comprehensive course is an important course in the initial stage of foreign students to learn Chinese.The teaching method that fits the teaching content and conforms to the law of students’ cognitive development has great effects on the teaching process of comprehensive course and the learning-self-efficacy of students.After investigation,we found that Japanese students are not active in the elementary Chinese comprehensive course,their oral expression ability is weak,and there are many problems in learning pronunciation,vocabulary,grammar and Chinese characters of Japanese students.As a branch of teaching method,scaffolding teaching method has its own characteristics and advantages.It can give full play to students’ subjective initiative,establish efficient classroom and achieve expected teaching effect.Therefore,the study,on the basis of constructivism,the zone of proximal development and the affective filter hypothesis,focus on the current situation of Japanese students in the primary Chinese comprehensive classroom,using the scaffolding instruction strategy to explore how to apply it to the teaching of Chinese characters,vocabulary,pronunciation and grammar of various linguistic elements,in order to implement a better language teaching and conform to the current educational idea of "student-centered".The first chapter of this paper introduces the reason and significance of the study,as well as the research review,innovation and the research methods.The second chapter summarizes the scaffolding teaching method,including the concept,theoretical basis,teaching course and its own characteristics.Chapter three shows the content and result of the questionnaire which are concluded from three aspects---the teaching method in class,the learning characteristics and the problems in learning language elements(i.e.Chinese characters,vocabulary,phonetics and grammar)of Japanese student,and analyzes the reason for students’ learning problems combining with the diagnostic test.Finally,it proves the practical feasibility of scaffolding teaching method.The fourth chapter summarizes the scaffolding teaching strategy.According to course of the scaffolding teaching method,we use the corresponding scaffolding teaching strategy to solve the problems of Japanese students in the acquisition of Chinese character,vocabulary,pronunciation and grammar,so as to show the way to the teaching practice.Finally,we summarize the article.This paper attempts solve the practical problems in Chinese comprehensive course by using scaffolding teaching strategy,and puts forward some feasible suggestions,hoping to further enrich the application of scaffolding teaching method in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language. |
