The Scaffolding Instruction under constructivism is a teaching method that a student-centered,emphasizing the use of teachers’ scaffolding,creating situations and group collaborative learning,and systematically guiding students to learn.Scaffolding Instruction focuses on the cultivation of students’ independent exploration and active learning ability,replacing the practice of direct indoctrination in the past.In recent years,many scholars in China use the scaffolding instruction in English,mathematics,physics and other disciplines,and have achieved good results.In this paper,the author attempts to apply the scaffolding instruction in the comprehensive course of TCSL to verify its positive significance in the teaching of the Comprehensive Chinese as a Foreign Language.Through the interview method and observation method,this paper analyzes the teaching status of the comprehensive course of TCSL from the characteristics of students’ learning and teachers’ teaching,and understands the problems of students’ low enthusiasm,teaching content and form in the comprehensive course teaching.On the basis of analyzing the five teaching links of the scaffolding instruction and its own advantages,through questionnaire survey,understand the students’ needs for the teaching of the Comprehensive Chinese as a Foreign Language.It is found that the scaffolding instruction is more applicable in the Comprehensive Chinese as a Foreign Language,which can inspire students’ potential development level,enhance students’ enthusiasm and enrich curriculum content.Through the analysis of the teaching object,teaching content and teaching objectives,the teaching design is carried out according to the five steps of the scaffolding instruction,and the teaching practice is carried out.According to the students’ classroom performance,after class and students,they can understand the students’ satisfaction with the scaffolding instruction.Finally,according to the teaching practice,it is found that the scaffolding instruction plays an active role in the Comprehensive Chinese as a Foreign Language.At the same time,it also sees the problem of the scaffolding instruction in the practical application process,so the teaching suggestions of the scaffolding instruction in the Comprehensive Chinese as a Foreign Language are proposed. |
