Resultative construction is a unique grammatical component in Chinese. It consists of two parts:predicate verb and resultative complement. The former refers to action, change, etc.,while the latter adds action and result. In the process of teaching Chinese as a second language, resultative construction has always been a very important grammar point.Because there is no 'complement' system in Thai, and the particularity, complexity and variability of resultative itself,it is also a difficulty in Thai Chinese teaching.Based on the causal event framework theory of Talmy's event framework theory, this study studies the acquisition of Chinese resultative constructions by Thai native speakers from the perspective of linguistic typology and cognitive linguistics.Through the structural comparison between Chinese and Thai under the framework of causal events,it is found that Thai and Chinese belong to the 'satellite framework language',but the satellite language attribute of Thai is weak.Specifically, there is only one pattern in event frame pattern classification in Chinese, that is,independent expression of outcome factors and verb inclusion. In Thai, there are two modes, one is the independent expression of result factors, the other is the fusion expression of result factors and the way of verb inclusion. In addition, based on the result structure comparison between Chinese and Thai and the actual effect of learners' acquisition of Chinese resultative construction, and on the basis of previous studies, finding that the complement of resultative construction may have an impact on learners' acquisition of resultative construction. At the same time, based on the difference of Chinese and Thai word order, finding that the position of the object in the sentence with resultative construction may also have a certain impact on learners' acquisition of resultative construction. On this basis,by using the method of experimental research,a questionnaire survey is carried out among the primary, intermediate and senior Chinese learners whose mother tongue is Thai,to investigate the influence of the fusion form of the result factors, the virtual and real nature of the complement and the position of the object on the acquisition of the resultative construction of the native Thai learners. The results show that Chinese proficiency has a significant impact on the acquisition of Chinese resultative construction by Thai native speakers, that is,the higher the level of Chinese learners, the better the effect of Chinese resultative construction. At the same time,it is found that the acquisition effect of Chinese resultative constructions consistent with Thai resultative structures is better than that inconsistent with Thai resultative structures. In addition, the acquisition effect of the resultative construction with real complement is better than that of the resultative construction with empty complement. In addition, the position of the object in the sentence is also an important factor affecting the acquisition of Chinese Resultative form by Thai native speakers.Based on the above conclusions, this paper puts forward three suggestions for teaching Chinese as a foreign language, which are focusing on three specific aspects:nationalization, stages and classification.
