Workplace bullying,as a common social phenomenon, has been widely concerned by scholars and managers in recent years.Workplace bullying not only harms the physical and mental health of employees, but also has ripple effects that affect the effectiveness of the entire organization. Most previous studies focused on the impact of workplace bullying on employee psychological outcome, but less on the impact of workplace bullying on employees' behavior. In petrochemical enterprises, the safety behavior of employees has always been the focus of enterprise managers.Safety behavior is divided into two dimensions: safety compliance and safety participation. These two dimensions have certain differences and represent different safety goals of employees.Whether workplace bullying affects employee safety behavior, and whether it has different effects on safety compliance and safety engagement, remains to be verified.Based on the self-regulatory resource theory, and selected oil workers as subjects, this study explored the relationship between workplace bullying and two dimensions of safety behavior, and further explored the cross-level moderating role of benevolent leadership and the mediating role of team psychological safety. In this study,669 oil workers from 54 departments were selected as subjects.Workplace bullying scale, safe behavior scale, benevolent leadership scale and team psychological safety scale were used as research tools.SPSS25.0,HLM7.0,Mplus7.0were used to process the data through correlation analysis, regression analysis and other methods. Finally, the following conclusions are drawn:(1)Perceived workplace bullying was negatively correlated with safety compliance.(2)Perceived workplace bullying was negatively correlated with safetyparticipation.(3)Benevolent leadership plays a cross-level moderating role between perceived workplace bullying and safety compliance.(4)Benevolent leadership plays a cross-level moderating role between perceived workplace bullying and safety participation.(5)Team psychological safety mediates the moderating effect of benevolent leadership on workplace bullying and safety compliance.(6)Team psychological safety mediates the moderating effect of benevolent leadership on workplace bullying and safety participation.
