A Study Of The Literary Works Of Yan Yanzhi And Bao Zhao In Wenxuan

As a historical period of "literary consciousness",the Wei,Jin,southern and northern dynasties played an important role in the history of Chinese literature.Among them,Liu Song period(420-479 years)lasted 60 years,the literary heritage is considerable.Yan Yanzhi and Bao Zhao,as two important writers in Yuanjia literary world,have added an important stroke to the history of Chinese ancient literature.Wenxuan,as the earliest collection of poetry and prose in China,collected 161 pieces of prose and 444 poems from 130 writers from pre-qin to southern dynasties.Among them,Yan Yanzhi wrote 1 fu,5 proses and 21 poems,Bao Zhao wrote 2 fus and 18 poems.They are the fifth and sixth most collected poems by individual authors.It is worth investigating why Xiao Tong is so fond of Yan and Bao among so many famous families.Based on the works of Yan Yanzhi and Bao Zhao,this paper probes into the selection criteria and the causes of their formation.The main text is divided into four chapters:The first chapter is "the theme of Yan Yanzhi's and Bao Zhao's poems in Wen Xuan".Combined with their life experience,family style,ideological character,social intercourse,singing and living environment,this paper analyzes the contents,themes,thoughts and feelings of the two poems in the anthology.The first section mainly analyzes Yan'sand Bao'spoems on the same theme,such as chanting history,touring and traveling,and compares their different emotions.The second section analyzes Yan Yanzhi's poems of public banquet,suburban Temple,grief and presentation,and highlights the characteristics of his court poems.The third section analyzes Bao Zhao's Yuefu poetry,miscellaneous poetry,miscellaneous quasi-poetry,taste in the ancient,ancient poetry to express their inner feelings in the creation of techniques.The second chapter is "the theme of Yan yanzhi's and Bao Zhao's prose and ci-fu in Wen Xuan".The first section analyzes the Fu on birds and beasts selected by Yan and Bao.At the same time,it feels the difference of the two writers' technique in describing birds and beasts as well as the same connotation of the Fu of expressing one's aspirations and expressing one's feelings by means of objects.The second section analyzes Yan Yanzhi's proses in "Wenxuan" with the classification,development and characteristics of style,and feels the beauty of sadness in his proses.In the third section,the author makes a case study of Bao Zhao's Ode to the Wuhu City from the historical and geographical perspectives.The third chapter is "the artistic characteristics of Yan's sand Bao's works collected in Wenxuan".In the first section,it is concluded that the artistic features of Yan Yanzhi's works are mainly embodied in solemn atmosphere,complicated use of quotations,philosophical thinking,good at rendering,clear and strong description of scenery,etc.The second section concludes that the artistic features of Bao Zhao's works are mainly embodied in three aspects: expressing one's feelings with ancient themes,having strong moral character,and aesthetically romantic language form.The fourth chapter is "the selection criteria of Wenxuan and its reason".The first section through the analysis of the academic,cultural background,literary trend of thought and Yan Yanzhi in the yuan-jia period,the academic ideas and literary thoughts of Bao Zhao and the ideological tradition and political aim of the compilation group of Wenxuan,which was dominated by Xiao Tong,finds that there are quite a lot of similarities among them,their unity makes the selection criteria of the anthology show the importance of profound connotation in content and the sincerity and deep emotion of the author,in the form of the pursuit of elegance and Orthodoxy,the literary language tends to gorgeous and heavy,as well as looking forward to the prosperity of previous generations,which contains rich features of tragic beauty.In conclusion,this paper combines the works of Yan Yanzhi and Bao Zhao with the Selected Works of the Wenxuan,and analyzes the genre and artistic characteristics of Yan and Bao's poetry,rhetoric,and prose selected from the Selected Works of the Wenxuan,respectively,in order to explore the selection criteria of the Selected Works of the Wenxuan.This article aims to analyze and study the works of Yan and Bao collected in Wenxuan by reading the text carefully,and analyze the writer's creative mentality in the context of the socio-historical background of the Yuanjia period,and try to reproduce their original creation and analyze their relationship with Wenxuan.
