China has a large overseas Chinese presence, they have a strong economic strength.Overseas Chinese have close relations with the kuomintang.Overseas Chinese made great contributions to the revolution of 1911 and the founding of the republic of China. Before the outbreak of the War of Resistance Against Japan in an all-round way,the Nanjing National Government established many overseas Chinese journals. After the outbreak of the War of Resistance Against Japan, the National Government continued its pre-war practice and actively established overseas Chinese journals. The outbreak of the All-round War of Resistance has made overseas Chinese more closely linked with the National Government. The severe situation in China during the Anti-Japanese War stimulated the mentality of overseas Chinese to serve the country and urged the National Government to seek the help of overseas Chinese. After the outbreak of the War of Resistance Against Japan, the Overseas Chinese Committee of the National Government and the Overseas Department of the Kuomintang established a series of overseas Chinese journals. Facing the severe situation of the Anti-Japanese War,the Overseas Chinese Committee adapted the “Monthly Overseas Chinese Affairs Newspaper” into the “Special Issue of Overseas Chinese Affairs in the Extraordinary Period” to report the War of Resistance.“Overseas Chinese mobilization” was founded by the overseas Chinese affairs committee in 1938 and closed in 1940.In the same year,“Overseas Chinese Pioneer” was founded by the The Overseas Department. It was suspended in 1941 and resumed in 1943.It remained until the end of the Anti-Japanese War. In 1940,the Overseas Chinese Committee adapted “Overseas Chinese Mobilization” into “Modern Overseas Chinese”,which was discontinued in 1942.The “Special Issue of Overseas Chinese Affairs in the Extraordinary Period” only one issue was published.During the special period after the July 7th Incident,it mainly covered the domestic situation and refuted the Japanese aggressors' remarks. The purpose of “Overseas Chinese mobilization” is to mobilize overseas Chinese to contribute to the War of Resistance against Japan. It publishes articles related to the War of Resistance of Overseas Chinese. The “Overseas Chinese mobilization” is mainly reflects the culture, education and living conditions of overseas Chinese during the Anti-Japanese War.The “Overseas Chinese Pioneer” aims at expounding the Three People's Principles theory, giving full play to the policy of building a country during the War of Resistance Against Japan, reporting domestic news, discussing overseas party affairs and overseas Chinese affairs, and providing the policy of joint efforts of overseas Chinese. The main contents of overseas Chinese journals include domestic and international current affairs, propaganda and mobilization of overseas Chinese, contribution of overseas Chinese to Anti-Japanese War,relief of overseas Chinese and education of overseas Chinese.Reporting current affairs at home and abroad is an important part of overseas Chinese journals. The purpose of overseas Chinese journals is to make overseas Chinese understand China's anti-Japanese war and the international situation.Overseas Chinese journals have created a positive image of the Kuomintang army's anti-Japanese war. Propaganda and mobilization of overseas Chinese is the original intention of the national government to set up overseas Chinese magazines, which actively mobilized overseas Chinese and guided them to serve the country. The overseas Chinese journal reported the great contributions made by the overseas Chinese to the war of resistance: economically, they donated money, purchased national debt, boycotted Japanese goods, and invested in domestic construction. In terms of military affairs, many overseas Chinese returned to the motherland to join the army and fight against the enemy, serve the army and the people, and some even died on the battlefield. After the outbreak of the Pacific War,most of Southeast Asia was occupied, and the overseas Chinese were in urgent need of rescue. The content of overseas Chinese education also accounts for a large proportion in overseas Chinese journals.During the Anti-Japanese War,the national government issued a series of policies on overseas Chinese. The establishment of the magazine for overseas Chinese was influenced by these policies, which reflected the national government's policies on overseas Chinese affairs, and in turn played a complementary and perfect role in the policies on overseas Chinese affairs. These four overseas Chinese magazines were founded in different time periods and belonged to different organizational systems.Their purposes and contents are therefore different. However, because they are all overseas Chinese affairs agencies, they have something in common. The four kinds of overseas Chinese journals established by the national government during the Anti-Japanese War played a certain positive role at that time, providing valuable materials for the research of contemporary scholars and some reference values and experiences for modern people to establish overseas Chinese journals. Of course, these overseas journals also have flaws.Their founding and management time is generally short, the content is broken;some articles have slandered the Communist Party's remarks, which is not conducive to the stability of the anti-war united front.
