Research On Hollywood AI Sci-fi Film Narrative

Science fiction films attract the attention of countless fans with their free imagination,deep themes and pioneering artistic techniques,and also arouse the academic desire to explore.As a very attractive and risky type of film,sci-fi films have shifted from marginal position to mainstream type in Hollywood's long history of film development,which reflects to some extent the importance of science and technology and fantasy in contemporary films.In a sense,the level of science fiction film also symbolizes the level of scientific development of a country and the scientific and cultural quality of the people.Artificial intelligence,as a prominent sub-type in science fiction films,has gradually transformed into "Internet Plus" The new era of artificial intelligence plus "has very important practical significance.And the analysis of the types of Hollywood AI sci-fi films from the perspective of narration can enable us to quickly understand the law of type development,and the summary of its type characteristics can also let us see the enlightenment of the current and even the future artificial intelligence development through the film.Academics have some research on Hollywood artificial intelligence film,but at present,there are few research results on the integrity of the subtype of artificial intelligence science fiction from the perspective of narrative.Although in recent years,two or three articles on Hollywood artificial intelligence science fiction film from narrative strategy have emerged,but they have concentrated on the perspective of script creation,and there are few systematic research on theory.This paper takes the Hollywood AI sci-fi film as the research object,based on the relevant theoretical materials and film text,uses the research method of combining narrative research and type research to discuss the narrative law of the Hollywood AI sci-fi film,and concludes that it can be a Chinese sci-fi film.The experience and enlightenment of the development of the type and even the sub-type of artificial intelligence science fiction film try to put forward reasonable suggestions for the future exploration of this type of film in our country.On the basis of observing a large number of such films,studying the relevant research achievements and literature,this paper mainly discusses the definition of "hollywood artificial intelligence science fiction film" from four parts: the first chapter is the narrative subject ofhollywood artificial intelligence science fiction film,and the focus of hollywood artificial intelligence science fiction film itself is "artificial intelligence ".The second chapter is the narrative time,time and space of Hollywood AI sci-fi films,which are essential elements of the film.At the same time,it is also the key to make the Hollywood artificial intelligence science fiction film this sub-type of solitary charm,this chapter respectively from the narrative time and narrative space two perspectives,summed up some of the most typical laws of space-time narrative.The third chapter is the narrative function of the hollywood artificial intelligence science fiction film,through the induction of the first few chapters deep analysis of its narrative behind the function and role,when the boundaries of artificial intelligence and human more and more small will lead to human-computer dislocation,but also will inevitably cause the main body myth and utopian illusion disillusionment,so this chapter respectively from the human subject mirror love and crisis,dystopian thinking and worry two perspectives.Chapter IV The enlightenment brought by hollywood artificial intelligence science fiction film,on the basis of the first three chapters,try to find the narrative limitation of hollywood artificial intelligence science fiction film,so as to expand the development direction of this sub-type of artificial intelligence science fiction film,and try to put forward reasonable suggestions for the exploration of this type of film in our country in the future.
