Research And Practice Of Network Emoji Design

With the rapid development of Internet technology,social media software is also constantly updated,the network and social software communication of people has become more and more common in daily life.In order to meet the increasing needs of people’s spiritual communication and realize the need of people to express their feelings and emotions accurately in the network communication,the network emoji appears as a special form in the network social communication.Nowadays,all kinds of network emoji compete with different kinds and forms of expression,and their design level and quality are also uneven.Some are high while some are low.In the fierce market competition,how to make the design of network emoji more characteristic and genial which cater to popular taste,this requires designers not only to consider its artistry and interest,but also to find a unique angle to pursue innovation so that it has more rich cultural implications.In recent years,the appearance and popularity of emojis in various dialects is a successful example of the combination of emoji design and regional culture.Dialect is a part of regional culture,which can reflect the language culture and local customs of a certain region.This paper takes the author’s hometown Linyi dialect of Shandong Province as the research object,which combines the design of the network emoji with the Linyi dialect of Shandong Province,and carries on the research of the design method and the creative practice of the network emoji.First of all,the author searched the domestic and foreign related academic materials on network emoji,further studied and concluded in the previous research,and carried out a comprehensive comparative study on excellent cases between the current popular network emoji and dialect network emoji.Then combined with its own research direction,the attribution and characteristics of Linyi dialect are systematically analyzed and summarized.Based on the previous research,combined with their own creative practice,a set of network expression package design principles and methods are explored and summarized.According to these design principles and design methods,the author created five sets of networkemojis of Linyi dialect with their own characteristics,namely "Zhuge Liang "," Pancake boy "," Yimeng Dogface"," Garlic" and "Lovely Font".It is hoped that the research results will provide a useful reference for the theory and practice of emoji.
